Entry is open to residents of New Zealand. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
The Promotion commences at 9am on Monday, 1 March 2010. Registration to participate in the PURINA ONE 30-Day Challenge (“Challenge”) must be received by no later than 11.59pm on Monday, 31 May 2010 and the Challenge must be completed and results sent by no later than 11.59pm on Friday, 30 July 2010 (“Promotion Period”).
To enter the prize draw, complete the Challenge with your cat or dog within the Promotion Period, following the instructions in the fulfilment pack or found online at
www.purinaone.co.nz.
Complete the scorecard, (and if you like, we’d love to hear your 30-Day Challenge success story). Choose the way you would like to send your entry:
Mail
– complete the scorecard and send to: “PURINA ONE 30-Day Challenge”, PO BOX 12995, Penrose Auckland 1642.
Online
– reply to the email containing the 30-Day Challenge scorecard by clicking the competition entry link. (Online entry requires a valid email address).
The first 25,000 registered participants will each receive instructions on how to conduct the Challenge and a voucher for a free bag of PURINA ONE product that must be redeemed by 31 July 2010, as follows:
For a cat - a 510g bag of PURINA ONE cat or kitten food; and
For a dog – a 1.81kg bag of PURINA ONE dog or puppy food.
Participation in the Challenge and entry in the prize draw is limited to once per household.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, including making multiple entries or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
Prize is $1000, payable to the winner in the form of a cheque or as an electronic fund deposit into the winner’s nominated bank account and one year’s supply of PURINA ONE cat or dog food, (depending on the pet which undertook the Challenge in 2010):
Cat prize is 17 x 1.59 kg bags of PURINA ONE cat food, based on the recommended daily feed for an average sized adult cat weighing up to 4kg, valued at up to $322 recommended retail value (“RRP”); and
Dog prize is 28 x 3.63 kg bags of PURINA ONE dog food, based on the recommended daily feed for an average sized adult dog weighing up to 25kg, valued at up to $699 RRP.
All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered in the major prize draw.
The prize draw will be conducted in Auckland on Monday, 2 August 2010. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize. The winner will be notified by telephone or email and the winners’ name and town may also appear at
www.purinaone.co.nz
Prize is not transferable & cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise stipulated.
Prize value is correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.
The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Nestlé Privacy Policy which can be accessed by visiting www.nestle.co.nz or calling 0800 830 840.
Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering the competition, the major prize winner agrees to the use of their name, image and photograph/s for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own copyright in any such images and photograph/s and in all material incorporating the photograph/s.
By entering the competition, each entrant agrees to the use of their scorecard and success story (if submitted) for printing, broadcast, publicity and promotional purposes, including but not limited to Promoter’s websites without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own all intellectual property rights, including copyright, in any such material. It is a condition of accepting any prize that the winner acknowledges that the Promoter acquires the scorecard and success story for use for its commercial purposes and agrees not to object to any such use on the basis of any moral right.
Prize will only be delivered in New Zealand and the winner should allow 28 days from prize draw for delivery of their prize.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this promotion.
