Keeping a cat indoors is safer and keeps her from getting injured in fights, hit by cars and safe from infection and disease. But, it can be a challenge and requires you to provide plenty of appropriate activities. Cats like to climb so providing climbing towers is one way to meet their needs. They also like to play with toys that are moveable and light. It often helps to rotate toys every few days. Many cats like to hide in boxes and bags so providing those can add to their fun. Be sure to set aside time on a daily basis for interaction with your cat including play, petting and grooming.
