1 This lovely stray cat comes to our house every day. She lives a street away but refuses to go home. She has adopted 5 homes on my street. She will sleep in our garage and also on our doorstep. Now she has come down with a cold. She sneezes and has a little mucus, wetness around her eyes and mouth. I am very worried about her. What do we do? Is she unhappy at her home? Is she really sick?

A cat will often stay where they are fed so if the cat is being fed by homes on your street she is unlikely to leave. Sneezing, nasal discharge and runny eyes are all signs of a respiratory infection. A veterinary visit is needed to get appropriate treatment for this cat. What she has may also be contagious to any cats you may have in your home so it is important to keep them separated.
