1 I have two cats (female not spayed & and male neutered) and I just recently moved into a household that has another cat (female spayed). I've been keeping my cats in my room because I don't know the best way to introduce the three. Any suggestions When introducing new cats to one another it is best to go slowly. Initially keeping them separated is the best strategy. This allows them to become used to the smell of another cat within their territory. Once they are calm, they can perhaps see one another through a slightly cracked door while offering a tasty treat to associate good things with each other. If all goes well, short periods of time together can be attempted. If hissing, growling or chasing occurs, cats should be separated. Good behavior should be encouraged with play and treats. It can take 3-4 weeks to introduce new cats into the home.
