1 My dog chews on her shingles on her dog house, and eats them. All her toys are chewed and eaten within two hours of getting a toy. Is there a medication special for her or a special toy or am I over reactinga?

Is there a medication special for her or a special toy or am I over reactinga? Dogs have only a few choices when it comes to entertaining themselves-chewing, digging, barking and chasing are among their favorites. When a dog does a great deal of chewing it often means that they are trying to occupy their time. Your dog probably needs more exercise and interactive time. Try taking your dog for a walk, or incorporating daily play time that is active such as "fetch". If you are able to keep her active and entertained her chewing should diminish. Since chewing is a normal dog behavior it is not something that needs medication.
